As much as we take secure software seriously we take your privacy to be just
as important.
Personal Information
We will ask you for limited personal information when downloading our software.
Some of this information includes: your e-mail address, your name, address,
IP address, and credit card billing information.
We use your name and other personal information to identify you as a customer
in order to give you the full benefits of registration including technical
support and upgrade eligibility.
We use your credit card billing information only to obtain payment for our
software and/or services.
Non-personal Information
Web visit: When you visit our Web site, our server logs your IP address,
the time of your visit, and the pages you view. This information is used to
generate statistical information that we use to measure interest in our Web
pages. We do not tie this information to any personally identifiable
information that we collect.
Software Downloads: When you download any of our software we keep
a running total and may display the current count on our Web site. In some
cases, we store your e-mail address with a product download, but it is used
for internal tracking purposes and will not be shared outside of our company.
User-to-User Forums: When you use our U2U forums we have a login
mechanism. This information is used solely for user identification purposes
and is not used in any marketing research.
Purchase: In addition to obtaining your name and other personal
information we also log your IP address and possibly browser information
when you purchase our software. We use this information to help us detect
piracy and/or credit card fraud.
Cookies: We do use cookies to store state information (for example,
keeping track of where a user is in the software download sequence), and for
user recognition in our online forums. The information gathered by these
cookies are not used for any marketing purposes.
Sharing of Information with Third Parties
We will not disclose your personally identifiable information except as
follows:
To protect Glub Tech and others: We may release personal information
in order to comply with United States law, enforcing licensing issues, or
to protect the rights of others. This may include exchanging information with
law enforcement agencies, or with other companies/organizations for fraud
protection.
To the Bureau of Export Administration: We may be required by United
States law to furnish a report to the United States Bureau of Export
Administration stating the IP addresses or all who accepted the export
agreement.
Security
You credit card information is encrypted before transmission over the Internet
through the use of the Secure Sockets Layer. No complete credit card numbers
are stored in any of our databases.
